Yes “you” can be a Foreign Missionary/ Ministry Partner
Some are called to go---We pray you will go with us on a Foreign Missions Work and or participate in a Domestic Mission/Ministry project.
Many are needed to support those called---Yes you can be a strong part of our Foreign Mission and Domestic Mission/Ministry by being a part of our support group.
- Lon & Ruth Klingman ask for your prayers and support as we continue to work full-time In Foreign Missions and Domestic Missions/Ministries. Here is an overview of what you are supporting and what you will be a part:
- Foreign Missions: As Enlistment Coordinators with International Commission our work includes managing and coordinating 2-3 short term Foreign Mission Works per year. Our work includes recruiting, training, advising potential workers & coordinating pre-work while here in the USA through our Florida home office. We also communicate with pastors/churches/church associations setting up speaking dates for the promotion of mission projects. The foreign country work includes supervising travel, logistics, lodging, coordinating USA personnel assignments with local churches, interpreters, and local personnel, interim review of USA personnel work, safety and progress all the while speaking and preaching at various churches, functions, activities. It should be noted that we work closely with our IC foreign coordinator counterparts, IC foreign personnel and foreign Christian volunteers in carrying out these duties.
- Domestic Missions include in-country mission projects which have an evangelistic emphasis. The last few years we have been working with a Haitian Missions project in the Miami area. In 2011 we hope to do some work in upstate New York as well.
- Domestic Ministries include an on going Prison Ministry through the Juvenile Detention Center located in Gainesville Florida, volunteer workers at the Women’s Resource Center in Gainesville Florida (Pro-Life Center). Many other special projects too numerous to report.
- God promises blessings for those who are generous with those carrying out his work. We feel blessed as God is allowing us to perform works for His Kingdom. Please partner with us as we share the Gospel in foreign countries and complete God’s work here at home. Together we are building the Kingdom of God.
- We will keep you informed and involved through periodic communications. Through the combined efforts of International Commission over a half of a million salvations were reported in 2010. Come be apart of our support team and be a real and necessary part of this great work for the Lord!
